Composer of electroacoustic and instrumental music. Multimedia artist. His works has been performed and presented in concerts and symposiums all around the world: Canada, Brazil, Hong-Kong, Italy, the United States, Sweden, Bolivia, Spain, Cuba, Argelia, Norway, Russia, Germany, Mexico, France, Turkey, Australia, Slovakia, Guatemala, Romania, Great Britain, The Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, New Zealand and 20 other countries. As performer of live electronic music he has played in festivals such as New Music America, the Stockholmsfestivalen För ElectroAkustik Musik and Composer-to-Composer, in places such as Teatro Colón of Argentina, and the Royal Academy of Sweden. Dal Farra has received awards and/or grants/fellowships from the International Computer Music Association, Fundaçao Bienal de Sao Paulo from Brazil, Rockefeller Foundation, Argentina’s National Endowment for the Arts, CSC — Universita di Padova (Italy), CCRMA — Stanford University and the Daniel Langlois Foundation (Canada), among others. He is the Electroacoustic music Consultant for UNESCO’s Digi-Arts global project.
