Dear CEC members,

Greetings to all of you from the Board of the CEC! It is my pleasure to update everyone on the CEC’s recent activities.

Membership Dues. I would like to make a friendly reminder to members to pay your membership dues as it is the beginning of our fiscal year. They are a significant part of our budget and help the CEC realize several yearly projects. You should have received a reminder recently regarding this. A big thanks to everyone that has paid their dues already and to those that have caught up from past dues owing from previous years. If you have any questions regarding memberships and payments contact the administration.

AGM — Annual General Meeting. Our yearly Annual General Meeting will be held in late August 2025, in-person in Montréal and streamed. I will be providing details on the CEC’s financial situation in my Treasurer’s Report. The other Board members will also be presenting their yearly reports to the membership about our ongoing projects and upcoming initiatives. The AGM is a great opportunity to catch up on all our activities and happenings, and to meet the Board of Directors and fellow CEC members.

JTTP 2025 — 26^th Edition. The annual 31 May deadline has now passed and the 26^th edition of JTTP is officially under way! Jury deliberations are about to begin, and the results will be officially announced during the AGM. We hope you will be able to attend the AGM, where you will also have the opportunity to meet some of the prizewinners and thematic award recipients. The results will be released publicly shortly after that. In the meantime, I invite you to have another listen to last year’s JTTP submissions.
