Artists in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Dear CEC members,

As its activities and workspace have been primarily online since the late 1990s, the CEC has thus far not been significantly impacted by the societal and economic side effects of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

This is unfortunately not the case for many creators and performers, teachers and students, colleagues and friends in the extended electroacoustic and instrumental music community.

In response, we have compiled a brief list of resources that will hopefully help artists negotiate the ongoing changes and disruptions to their professional and personal activities related to developments of the pandemic.

The CEC's Board of Directors and Administration wish strength and health to all in these complex times.

Warm regards to you all,
Canadian Electroacoustic Community (CEC)
