Hans Tutschku studied electroacoustic composition in Dresden, and ‘Sonologie’ at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where he developed several computer programs for sound transformation. He has composed tape pieces, works for live musicians with tape and/or live electronics, and music for theater, ballet, and film. Since 1997, he has been teaching at IRCAM (Paris).
