After my first couple of years in Montréal, I became intrigued by Dog-Shit Season, that weeks-long period between winter and summer. This is the season that passes for spring in Montréal, sort of like Mud Season in New England. The snow melts, the accumulated shit and garbage emerge, the wind blows it around, then summer arrives suddenly.

The video was an assemblage of photos of dog shit — that's all. After the first edit, I lost interest. I think it would have made a better project as a book. Glossy, lots of color, high production values.
