This piece was written in 1979 as a send-up of pretentious program notes about avant-garde music. The mixed media piece includes spoken voice, piano, slide projections (by Vivian Sturdee), and tape (by Ann Southam). It describes in some detail this complex and dramatic work which of course is far too difficult for your average audience to understand without this explanation.
