A work over 45 minutes long, “… mourir un peu” has produced two shorter versions: “Itinéraire 1”, a suite in three movements and “Itinéraire 2”, a suite in five movements (22:10). Tonight’s version brings together the movements 5, 6 and 4 of the complete work. They are “Transfert 1”, “En abîme” and “Thème de la fuite”. It is about departure… and also about escape. A commission from the French Government and of the Groupe de musique expérimentale de Marseille (GMEM). Dedicated to Marthe Forget.
