We live in an age of big time killing and dehumanization. The island of Montréal is infested with war machine producing companies and stores that sell war toys to children. I wrote this piece as a musical description of the mass negation of the reality of these things. a harsh metallic rhythm underlies the piece while drawn out screeches from the synth counterpoint it. It ends in a rising crescendo that is cut short suddenly, and then silence. How long do we have to wait to remove the violence from our lives and our earth… RO
