The nature of this work is indirectly inspired by the ongoing attempts in Central America to create an active “Dialogue” between the forces which represent the government and the wealthy strata of society and the forces that represent the poor and dispossessed. To a large degree, the struggle in Central America is between those who have “nothing” and those who have “everything”. Land reform, money for public education and health care, along with a more meaningful “democratic society” have been the central issues. TL
