“In Flight”, the music which accompanies Paula Ravitz's “Primitive” dance, is composed as a multitrack piece, using a DX7 synthesizer and electronic piano. The composition contains three sections- the first showing strong polarities between lyric and disruptive-percussive statements, the second presenting melodic and mystical ideas, and the third portraying the joy of the dancers in flight.
