This worked was compiled on an IBM XT. The first and third movements used Roger Powell's Texture II program, a versatile MIDI sequencer program, which allows up to 32 tracks to be recorded. The second movement was written on a program called DXScore, an upgraded version of Score 11 which was developed at the Queen's University Computer Music Facility. This work used up to seven TX tone generators (each the equivalent of one DX7), a Mirage rack mount sampler, and the Yamaha RX11 drum machine. Final touches were added with digital reverberation, digital delay, and various settings on a Yahama SPX90 (multi-effects unit). JL
