The music in this piece is a collage of component sounds and can be found in the interactions between harmonic and non-harmonic sounds. The music presented by the entire soundscape is hence more significant than the actions of the individual components. “Reflections in a Metal Sea” was realized in the Electroacoustic Studio of Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario) during the Fall, 1987.
