“Pagaille” was composed as part of the course requirements for the “Groupe de recherches musicales” (GRM) in Paris, France. “Pagaille” refers to a hurried, disordered situation caused by unceasing activity. This definition plus a dash of humor is the atmosphere of “Pagaille”. The actual name can be heard towards the end of the piece. WM
