Annie Mahtani is a composer and sound artist based in Birmingham, UK. Her music is created from realworld sounds which are then transformed, manipulated and restructured. She is currently working towards a PhD in Electroacoustic Composition at The University of Birmingham. With a strong interest in collaboration, she has worked with dance and theatre, often exploring the relationship between sound and movement. Her works have received performances across the UK, Europe and Canada.
