Active in both electroacoustic and instrumental music, Daniel-Amadeo Zimbaldo is interested in the relationship “human being — acousmatic art — music therapy.” His music has won several international awards, including the Cristobal Halffter Prize (Spain, 1987), SIAE Prize (Italy, 1988), Prix de Musique Électroacoustique à Programme de Bourges (France, 1996), Award-Residence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Spain) in the Spanish Academy of Arts in Rome (Italy, 1998). He is also active as a music therapist and as a composer of soundtracks for cinema, theatre and television.
