Animal-Derived Music was a collaboration between Kevin Curtis-Norcross and Frank Koustrup. It is a lengthy meditation on animal-based — peacocks, dogs — and water-based sounds — Halifax Harbour. The taped sounds were looped, slowed, filtered, and mixed. This slow and dark composition was submitted to the CEC Diffusion festival in Toronto, 1988.
