In 1977 I was asked to compose the soundtracks for a dozen or so short student animations for the School of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts where I was teaching. These are largely collaborative pieces composed over a period of about two or three days, a mixture of acoustic instruments, electronics, sound effects etc, recorded in a primitive studio to eight channels and mixed for transfer to 16 mm optical.
