“The Complicated Art of Solar War” is being created as a real-time performance for radiobroadcast on Two New Hours. Live performers and computer interact and challenge one another for control over synthesizers and samplers. The title is derived from the novel ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ by Gabriel Garcia Marquez in which a village inventor strikes upon the revolutionary notion of employing solar energy for destructive purposes.
