ekphonesis VI [1988-II] was written in close collaboration with Meg Sheppard to complete an autobiographical song-cycle by alcides lanza. It further explores ideas presented in ekphonesis V [1979-I] and penetrations VII [1972-III] particularly the importance of memory and the need for better communication among mankind. It also emphasizes the importance children play in promoting openness and generosity of spirit among us all. ekphonesis VI [1988-II] utilizes texts written by Canadian poet Norbert Ruebsat and by Robert Frost and W.B.
