Leon W. Couch III, Ph.D., D.M.A., joined the music faculty at Converse College in 2006. While pursuing doctorates in music theory and organ performance at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, Couch maintained an organ studio and taught theory courses there. There he also served as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics and studied electronic music composition with Mara Helmuth.
