The piece begins on a deep, subtly dramatic drone in "E". Reminiscent of a digeridoo drone, the low frequency slowly gives way to mid and high range pizzicatt-ish sounds, some of which have a backwards feel. Continuing thusly, "Palaver" washes by with no great instance of sudden dynamic sound cluster, rather more of a mellifluous and occasionally torpid river of sound that ultimately resolves into a pairing of grindy, mid/high sounds with short soft marimba like synth tones.
