MARTÍN ALEJANDRO FUMAROLA — ARGOS

ARGOS est ma première pièce électroacoustique. Elle a été réalisée en 1988 dans le LME (Laboratoire de musique électroacoustique) de l’Université nationale de Córdoba, maintenant disparu, avec un synthétiseur Yamaha DX7 et un magnétophone à bobines Revox A77, sans l’aide d’ordinateur.

Le compositeur argentin Martín Fumarola est particulièrement intéressé par l’électroacoustique et la musique par ordinateur. Sa musique électroacoustique est présentée régulièrement dans de nombreux festivals internationaux et des séries de concerts en Europe, aux É-U, au Canada, en Amérique latine, et en Australasie. Il est actuellement Compositeur Associé au LEIM de l’Université nationale de Córdoba.

ARGOS is my first electroacoustic piece. It was produced in 1988 in the now defunct LME (Laboratory of Electroacoustic Music) of the National University of Córdoba using a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer and a Revox A77 reel-to-reel tape recorder, with no computer use.

Martín Fumarola is an Argentinian composer with a special interest in electroacoustic and computer music. His electroacoustic music is regularly performed in international festivals and concert series in Europe, the USA, Canada, Latin America, and Australasia. He is currently an Associate Composer of the LEIM of the National University of Córdoba.
