Similar to the previous category, “Mixed / Instrument and Tape”, here an acoustic instrument is paired with an electroacoustic component. In this case, however, the electroacoustic component is not “fixed” but rather created live during the performance, in “real-time”. Most often this is done with the use of MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). |
